*Pedal Revolutions recorded with a custom built crank arm Counter. The Magnetic Counter was made with a Veeder-Root A103-000 Totalizer connected to a Radio Shack Reed Switch installed and sealed with silicon in an old Protege magnetic pickup housing, all connected with wires from an external hard drive power cord. A magnet glued to the pedal crank arm adds 1 to the counter every time the magnet passes the reed switch. The 2 ounce Totalizer uses a 3 volt lithium battery providing a 5 year operating life and it has a front screen reset switch.
