The count was 431 crossings along the approximate 27 miles of trail starting on the Causeway
and ending at Hwy 13 down almost to Weeks Bay along Hwy 98 where the trail abruptly ends.
That equates to crossing a road or driveway on average every 331 feet. (About a football field apart).
One might think that would mean the Trail would be very dangerous. Wrong.
The reality for me is, I rode the trail out and back doing about 862 road and driveway crossings
and had a most enjoyable, relaxing, and scenically rewarding bicycle ride.
The Eastern Shore Trail is the longest and best
multi-use trail the Gulf Coast area has to offer.
Below are some photos from today's ride.
