The Good: They put a single oil boom out into Montlimar Creek by the drain pipe.
The Bad: Because they haven't bothered to drain the ditch yet, there is still petroleum flowing out of the pipe.
The Ugly: Petroleum is getting by the boom. A smelly petroleum sheen is still visible well over a mile downstream.
The Bad: The bank of Montlimar Creek is eroding.
The Ugly: Taxpayers will flip the bill to pay to have the canal dredged to normal designed depth.
