This is a trashy illegal cat shelter being run on the public right of way of Dauphin Island Parkway 20 feet from Theodore Industrial Canal. I call it illegal because there is no permit sign visible. Surely the State of Alabama or the City of Mobile mandates that maintained public animal shelters be permitted. Right?
An animal rights zealot bitch told me this is a "TNR" site (Trap, Neuter, and Release). First someone traps a wild cat, then lovingly cuts off its balls, then rejects the humiliated cat by sending it back into the wild, then recklessly feeds the cat mere feet away from a State highway and then litters the public right of way next to a public waterway trash. This is a case of some fanatical animal lover who has no concern whatsoever about breaking the city municipal litter laws.
Meantime, people who frequent the area see all the trash on the ground put there by this animal lover and deem it a safe place to illegally dump their trash too. So this public right-of-way mere feet away from Theodore Industrial Canal stays trashy all year long.
Some animal lover needs to be arrested for running an animal shelter without a permit and needs to be issued a ticket for littering the environment. Mobile sure is getting tough on littering, eh? The City of Mobile cannot even see illegal roadside animal shelters.
As long Cat loving fanatics are going to willfully litter the environment, I suggest Environmental Fanatics fight back by trapping the cats being maintained at the illegal animal shelters and taking them to real animal shelters where the unwanted cats can be quickly euthanized. Then there will be no cats left to feed at the illegal animal shelters. Maybe then the cat lover wackos will stop littering the area.
