Here are two photos taken at McNally Park. One taken in February 2015, the other taken in the same place three months later in May 2015.
This hazardous trash is located about five feet away from the water and continues to be ignored by whoever is responsible for maintaining McNally Park.
How can large obvious trash in public parks go unnoticed month after month? I wonder how often City of Mobile Parks personnel go by City Parks to mow and clean them. Certainly not often enough.
If the City of Mobile wants to clean up the trash in Mobile, I suggest the City Park employees start by visiting their parks with enough frequency to keep them clean on a daily basis. If the City cannot keep the all the public parks clean with proper frequency, they need to close some of the parks and sell the land.
The City of Mobile has no business enforcing Municipal Code Litter Laws if the City cannot keep their own City Parks free of trash and litter...
