ADEM or the US EPA should mandate by law that uncaring Ugly communities like Mobile (NPDES permit holders) that pollute their waterways with MS4 trash must employ an adequate workforce as needed to remove the community's litter from their waterways after each heavy rain so as to keep their public waterways relatively free of trash.
It is pretty obvious in these photos that the recent Coastal Clean up failed to remove any shoreline trash from the entire Garrows Bend watershed.
Isn't keeping our precious public waterways clean what the federal Clean Water Act mandates?
Obviously someone is not administering ADEM NPDES permits in such a way that it keeps public waterways clean in compliance with the Clean Water Act.
Someone in ADEM should go to jail for being complicit in the polluting of Alabama waterways with vast amounts of public litter and for ignoring the waterway trash pollution despite years of complaints.
