Fast forward six years. Look around the Interstates and State Highways in Mobile. Despite MILLIONS of dollars a year ALDOT spends picking up illegal public litter, interstates and state highways remain some of the most littered roadways in Mobile which contribute greatly to the amount of storm water litter that enters Mobile's creeks.
If I was in charge of the Alabama Department of Transportation who had to waste so much money every year picking up behind litterers in Mobile, and Mobile officials came to me begging for a new Bridge over Mobile River, I'd say, "Sorry Sammy, ALDOT construction money is having to be spent to continually remove the garbage you Pigs in Mobile throw on the side of ALDOT roadways."
Hmmm. Maybe there is a negative consequence to all this litter'n after all.
No Bridge for the Pigs in Mobile. Smart Decision VC.
Let the Bay of Pigs enjoy their trashy view while they're stuck waiting for traffic to move through the tunnels.
